Future customers... do not let one product review form your opinion on a company. Here's the background story (pure facts) for other customers who may want to purchase this part:
We (American Offshore) accidentally had the incorrect picture for the product listing. The switches in the original picture were white, but in actuality (even per the product title, listing and description) the switches were black. The customer ordered the part expecting the switches to be white. Completely understandable. Our mistake.
Customer receives product. States, 'SORRY PARTS THE I ORDER NOT EVEN CLOSE ON WHAT I ORDER'. He's sort of correct. Everything (other than the switches being white instead of black) in the product listing matched the part.
To which we reply:
'Good afternoon Rafael!
You are 100% correct that your product does not perfectly match the product image in our website. I am not sure why but the product image we had on our website showed the white switches but the product description did have the switches as being black.

The product description did not change, but the image did. The only difference from what you ordered and the product image is the switches being black instead of white.
Would you like to return the trim tab switch panel for a full refund?'
Customer replies:
'IT DID CHANGE BECAUSE THE SWITCHES ARE ATTACH WITH A SCREW THIS ONE'S DOESN'T. I NEED TO RETURN I NEED THE SPECIFIC SWITCH THIS ONE DO NOT WORK FOR ME HOW CAN I DO A RETURN OR IF U HAVE THE ONES ON THE ORIGINAL POST I WILL BE OK TO YOU GUYS TO RESEND.'
It's very possible the customer is correct in that the switch panel HE NEEDS has holes to allow for the original white switches to screw into the panel, whereas the panel he received does not have holes because the new (& improved) panel allows for modern Carling Technology switches. It's also very possible that had he simply removed the (currently installed in new panel) Carling Technology switches from the new panel then he would have seen the panel still had the holes for the old style rocker switches.
Anyway, we have offered him the chance to return the ordered product back to us for a full refund. We are still awaiting the returned product so we can issue him the full refund.
