Shipping policy
At American Offshore, we take pride in manufacturing high-quality, custom marine products. Because many of our items are custom-engineered and built to order, our shipping process includes both a Manufacturing Lead Time and a Transit Time.
1. Manufacturing Lead Times
Most of our products are manufactured in-house at our South Carolina facility.

In-Stock Items: Orders for non-custom items (like select switch covers, hats, or hardware) typically ship within 1–3 business days.

Custom Products: Custom panels, livewell lids, hatches, 'Plug-N-Play' systems, etc. require precision CNC cutting and hand-craftsmanship. Please refer to our Estimated Lead Times Page for the most up-to-date manufacturing schedule.

Note: Lead times begin once your final design is approved & paid in full (if applicable).
2. Shipping Methods & Rates
We ship all orders via multiple well-known carriers to ensure reliable delivery to your dock or doorstep.

Domestic Shipping: Rates are calculated at checkout based on the weight and dimensions of your order.

Free Shipping: We occasionally offer free shipping promotions on orders over a certain value. If applicable, this will be automatically applied at checkout.

Expedited Shipping: Choosing an expedited shipping method (like UPS Next Day Air) does not speed up the production lead time of a custom product. It only shortens the time the package spends in transit once it leaves our facility.
3. Tracking Your Order
Once your order is manufactured, packed, and scanned by the carrier, you will receive an automated email with your Tracking Number. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking information to update on the carrier's website.
4. International Shipping
We are proud to serve the global boating community.

We ship internationally to most countries.

Customs, Duties, & Taxes: Please note that international orders may be subject to import duties and taxes once the shipment reaches your country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not collected or controlled by American Offshore.
5. Damaged or Lost Shipments
We pack our acrylic and electronic products with extreme care to prevent damage during transit.

Damaged in Transit: If your order arrives damaged, please take photos of the packaging and the product immediately and contact us at sales@americanoffshorefishing.com within 48 hours of delivery.

Lost Packages: If your tracking information shows "Delivered" but you have not received your package, please check with your neighbors or local post office before contacting us.
6. Address Accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We cannot be held responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If a package is returned to us due to an insufficient address, the customer will be responsible for the additional shipping costs to resend the item.
